    About Anne

    Anne earned her B.S. from University of Alaska Southeast, where she studied Biology and minored in Professional Communication. She spent a semester working for a Marine Conservation Non Profit where she raised community engagement on issues like invasive species. She then returned to school and earned a M.S. in Environmental Science at Alaska Pacific University. There she spent her degree researching octopus behavior and fell in love with building algorithms to explore science. She is currently earning a second M.S. in Analytics from Georgia Tech. With her strong STEM expertise coupled with her background in communication, Anne gives students the tools to methodically, meticulously, and predictably master tests in a supportive and collaborative environment. Through this systemic approach to learning, Anne helps break down and demystify challenging content in a way that is both reliable and fun! 

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • Anne helped a student raise her ACT English score from a 19 to a 32.
    • She was invited as a student representative to speak at several conferences after being selected to conduct undergraduate research for her university. 

    Fun Facts

    • Anne is a scuba diver at an aquarium and loves feeding the sharks. 
    • She grew up in Alaska and once spent a month living on a boat in Prince William Sound researching sea otters.
