    About Anne

    Anne is an accomplished academic who holds multiple degrees and specializations across sciences, quantitative subjects, and the humanities, including biology, communications, environmental science, and analytics. With her strong STEM expertise coupled with her background in communication, Anne is a highly competent tutor who gives students the tools to methodically, meticulously, and predictably master tests in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

    Anne is equally comfortable supporting students across a range of starting scores: one of her recent students moved from 33 to 35 in composite ACT score, while another moved from 22 to 30 composite. Anne’s academic and Subject Test students also perform very highly; she has recently had students earn perfect scores of 800 on the SAT Subject Tests in Chemistry and Math 2, and has supported multiple students through both SL and HL levels of IB science and math courses. Using a systematic approach to learning, Anne helps break down and demystify challenging content in a way that is both reliable and fun.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • Anne helped a student raise her ACT English score from a 19 to a 32.
    • One of Anne’s recent SAT students increased their score by 360 points.

    Fun Facts

    • Anne is a scuba diver at an aquarium and loves feeding the sharks. 
    • She grew up in Alaska and once spent a month living on a boat in Prince William Sound researching sea otters.
