Originally from the United Kingdom, Hannah is a test prep professional who holds degrees in Animal Science from Oregon State University and the University of California, Davis.
During her undergraduate career at UC Davis, Hannah received the Animal Science Department’s Leadership Award and was actively involved in the Keeper Aide program at the Sacramento Zoo, where she received hands-on experience that led her to pursue her graduate degree. While at Oregon State, Hannah honed her educational skills as a teaching assistant in a variety of animal science courses. After graduating, Hannah moved to San Diego, where she has been working in the test prep industry ever since.
Hannah’s research-based scientific background helps her bring an investigative, strategy-oriented approach to both quantitative and verbal aspects of college admission exams. One of Hannah’s recent ACT students raised his English score from a 24 on his diagnostic to a 35 on the official exam and his Reading score from a 25 on the diagnostic to a 34 on the official exam. Hannah also has extensive experience tutoring biology for both college admission exams and and college-level courses; a recent SAT Biology Subject Test student raised her score 150 points.
Hannah is an enthusiastic and detail-oriented instructor who provides structure and organization in all aspects of her programs. Her dry sense of humor brightens her tutoring sessions, and she truly embraces growth mindset values to help her students reach their goals, personalizing her approach to set her students up for success no matter their needs or learning styles.
