    About Jason

A native of New York City, Jason attended Yale University, where in addition to his studies he was also involved in theater and volunteered as a tutor and mentor. Since graduating, he has tutored hundreds of students around the world.

In high school, Jason competed in science fairs, worked as a biology lab assistant, and won the Science Faculty Award for Service to the Department. He won the New York State History Day award for Senior Historical Paper and had his paper published in the journal of the New York State Historical Association. He also achieved a perfect score on the ACT, a 2370 on the SAT, and 800s on the Subject Tests and 5s on the AP exams for Biology, US History, and French.

As a tutor, Jason tailors his approach to the needs of each individual student, and engages his students with humor and empathy, while holding them to high standards to ensure that they reach their potential. With his help, many of his students have gotten into their dream schools, including Yale, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Chicago. He is currently based in New York — tutoring, singing, and writing.
