Matt P.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Matt attended the University of Michigan and subsequently earned his M.B.A. at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.

Matt has had a passion for teaching since his high school days, when he would help his younger brother with algebra homework. Since becoming a professional tutor, he has worked with over 150 students. Matt has worked in television development over the same period of time, and his creative word-smithing in this context has given him a special knack for communicating test prep reading strategies to his students.

Matt is a high-energy tutor who likes to build a fun dynamic with his students. Learning the fundamentals of grammar and math isn’t always the most exciting, so Matt does his best to make sure his students at least enjoy the delivery.
