    About Ted

    Ted is a San Francisco native and a recent transplant to Los Angeles. He began tutoring at the City College of San Francisco, and continued tutoring privately while studying Mechanical Engineering at UC Berkeley. After completing his B.S. at Cal in 2003, Ted worked in the engineering field for a brief time, before going back to teaching math. He found ArborBridge while living in New York and since making the move to Los Angeles has continued to act as one of our math experts, supporting students up through the AP level.

    In addition to teaching, Ted is also a musician and composer. He studied Film Scoring and Electronic Production at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

    Noteworthy Accomplishments

    • Ted helped compose an original score to the 1926 film, Phantom of the Opera, and conducted a live orchestra during screenings.
    • He recently recorded an original full-orchestral demo piece at the Warner Brothers scoring stage.
