Will studied Chemistry and International Studies at the University of Washington, where he participated in research into organic catalysts for polymerization and novel DNA sequencing methods, in addition to competing on the school’s Model European Union team.
An expert in preparing students for college admissions exams, Will has worked as both a tutor and designer of curriculum, helping to organize and teach SAT and ACT preparation classes as well as classes devoted to the Chemistry and Math 2 Subject Tests.
During his high school career, Will was a National Merit Finalist and a National AP Scholar, earning scores of 5 on the AP US History, World History, Literature, Language and Composition, Chemistry, and Calculus AB exams, as well as scores of 4 on the AP Physics and Biology exams. He scored a 2350 (correlated to a current 1580) on the general SAT, as well as perfect scores on the Chemistry and Math 2 Subject Tests. Will has coached students to consistent score gains on both the SAT and ACT, and recently had a student improve 12 points on the ACT English section.
Will’s high energy level and humor help him bring out the best in his students and turn test preparation into an enjoyable process. He seeks to provide his students with methods they can use to conquer not just their current testing goals, but those that may arise in the future as well.

- Will loves hiking, and regularly joins work groups to build hiking trails in Washington State.
