Aidan graduated from UC Berkeley in just six semesters with a B.A. in economics. As an undergraduate, Aidan began his teaching experience by mentoring first and second graders in Oakland Public Schools in fundamental literacy skills. He has since taught English in French high schools, tutored more than a hundred students in the SAT alone, and served as a data analyst for a public defender’s office through AmeriCorps.
As a high school student, Aidan scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT when he first took it, with perfect scores in the Writing and Essay sections, and he proceeded to earn perfect scores on the BC Calculus, Comparative Government, English Literature, French Language, Macroeconomics, US History, & US Government AP exams.
From his experience growing up on the East and West Coasts, Aidan finds that students learn best when their teacher or tutor cares about them personally. He aims to let students follow their curiosity since he believes students learn best when they feel free to ask any question. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, hiking, learning about the environment, and listening to show tunes.
