Anja
About
Anja Tonkovic-Capin is a Princeton University graduate with a degree in Economics and a minor in Statistics and Machine Learning, graduating with honors. She scored a perfect 36 on the ACT, a 2290 on the SAT (800 Math, 800 Reading), and a 740 on the GMAT. In high school, Anja was a National Merit Semifinalist and an AP Scholar with Distinction, earning 5’s on the tests for AP Computer Science, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Physics II, AP Psychology, AP European History, AP Language Arts, AP US History, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, and AP Spanish Language.
As a tutor, Anja has guided students to great achievements, including score increases and admissions to Ivy League universities such as her alma mater, Princeton. As an undergraduate teaching assistant for Microeconomics at Princeton, she discovered she had a talent for breaking down complex concepts into accessible lessons. Anja’s empathetic and confidence-building approach ensures her students feel supported and capable as they strive to reach their goals.
Outside of tutoring, Anja enjoys jogging in Central Park, reading science fiction, and listening to history podcasts.
