Eric M.

Eric is a tutor with over 10 years of experience. He has helped countless students achieve their goals, and he still finds it a joy to hear “I got the score I wanted!” from students to this day. Trained as a tutor in multiple SAT and ACT curriculums, Eric has a deep well of content knowledge and test strategies.  

As a high school student, Eric received a 1560 on the SAT (perfect Verbal score) and a 34 on the ACT (perfect Science score). Challenging himself with AP classes, he was an AP Scholar with a score of 5 in AP Calculus, a 5 in AP Physics, and passing scores in AP Chem and AP Bio. Since then, he has helped many students earn their desired scores, including a student improving their ACT science from an 18 to a 28.

After graduating from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Eric pursued a career in neurological research while he tutored on the side. But before long, teaching became his passion. He earned his Teaching Certificate for high school math. While working as a certified teacher, he also created an SAT learning program for his school from scratch. During his time in the classroom, Eric has gained experience working with different learning styles, including neurodivergent students.

Patience and kindness are what Eric brings to every session. Humor and a positive attitude have been cited as students’ and parents’ favorite qualities about his tutoring style.
