About

Mark is a cum laude graduate of Ithaca College, where he majored in Journalism and International Politics, concentrating on nationalism and ethnic conflict. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in physical therapy at the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mark recognized the academic disruptions students were facing and launched a tutoring career focused on helping high schoolers rebuild skills and confidence. Since then, he has supported many high-achieving students in overcoming test anxiety, time-management challenges, and the psychological hurdles of high-stakes exams.

In high school, Mark was Valedictorian of his 400-student class, a National Merit Scholar, and an AP Scholar with Distinction. He earned a perfect 36 ACT composite, scored 5s on five AP exams, and captained the varsity tennis team.

Mark’s students routinely see significant score gains—many improving their SAT results by 30% or more, with several earning perfect scores on ACT Reading and English, and others improving their SAT Math scores by more than 200 points. Known for his calm and empathetic demeanor, Mark takes a patient, nonjudgmental approach that helps students master difficult concepts and feel less intimidated by the exam. His ability to make the test feel manageable has been a game changer for dozens of students.
