Winter Storm Mateo Causes ACT Test Center Cancellations

Winter Storm Mateo has brought inclement weather to large parts of the midwestern United States. As a result, ACT has cancelled the February test at dozens of locations across the central part of the country.

As a student, what should you do?

While ACT will e-mail all affected students via the address they provided during registration, check this page to see the list of testing sites that are affected. Look to the right side of the page and scroll down to see if your test center appears. The list is sorted in alphabetical order by state.

If your test center appears on the list, your exam will be rescheduled for a later date. ACT will contact you directly with more details. If you are in an area that may be affected by Mateo, we suggest you check ACT's web page on the morning of the exam, as there may be last-minute additions.

While having your test date postponed is obviously not ideal, don't worry! You'll be given another opportunity soon to take the test. If you are ready now, you'll be ready then!
