About

Audrey graduated in 2021 from Brown University, where she concentrated in English and Public Policy with honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Alongside her academic pursuits at Brown, Audrey cultivated her instructional abilities by engaging in tutoring and teaching roles, including assisting fellow students in writing-focused classes and working as a teaching assistant for a class on Cybersecurity and International Relations. To explore her interests in writing and literature further, Audrey is starting a master’s program in literature at the University of Oxford, and she plans on attending law school afterwards.

As a high school student, Audrey graduated on the high honor roll and was named a National Merit Finalist and an AP Scholar with Distinction. She received scores of 35 on her ACT and 790 on both the World History and the US History SAT Subject Tests. She scored 5s on her AP Biology, AP World History, AP Environmental Science, and AP Calculus AB exams.

Audrey started her tutoring career at age 15, teaching English writing composition to students in Seoul, Korea. Since then, Audrey has worked as a tutor in private, institutional, and volunteering capacities. In high school, Audrey worked as a volunteer tutor for organizations such as TASSEL Cambodia and Destination: College, and she volunteered for a semester as a teaching aide for a fourth grade classroom. Before college, she served for a summer as a teaching assistant at Alto Hagwon, a test prep center in Seoul. In addition to her various teaching roles as an undergrad, she volunteered at Breakthrough Providence as a tutor for middle school students and worked as a private tutor, teaching a broad range of academic subjects.

Audrey’s experience working across multiple cultures and age groups helps her in aiding students to reach their highest potential. Students, especially those who experience testing anxiety, appreciate Audrey’s empathy, calming presence, and step-by-step approach to instruction.
