Ben

Ben is a Navy veteran and lifelong puzzle enthusiast with a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and an M.S. from the University of Texas at Dallas.

In high school, he was an International Baccalaureate graduate, a National Merit Scholar, and an AP Scholar, earning scores in the 99th percentile on the SAT. His academic achievements reflect a deep commitment to learning, but it’s his passion for teaching that truly stands out. Whether serving as an active-duty officer or mentoring peers during his graduate studies, Ben has consistently found joy in helping others work through difficult problems and experience those rewarding “a-ha!” moments.

Ben takes a personalized approach to tutoring, making a point to understand the person behind the student. He believes effective learning starts with connection, and he adapts his guidance to suit each individual’s needs and learning style.

Outside of tutoring, Ben enjoys all kinds of games—video games, board games, and crosswords alike—as well as weightlifting and experimenting in the kitchen.
