Gilli is a Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude graduate of Barnard College at Columbia University in New York. She has been tutoring with ArborBridge since 2010 and has thousands of hours of tutoring under belt. She enjoys helping students achieve their goals through both academic tutoring and test prep.
In high school, Gilli scored a 2180 on her SAT (equivalent to a 1510 in current scoring) and was an AP Scholar with Distinction and a Bank of America Named Scholarship recipient. As a tutor, Gilli has helped a student raise their SAT Math score from a 680 to a perfect 800. One of Gilli’s recent students whose first language was not English was able to raise their SAT Verbal score from a 640 to 730. One of Gilli’s ISEE students scored perfect 9 stanines in all sections of the exam, and one of her SSAT students scored in the 99th percentile in all exam sections. She has also helped multiple score 5’s on the AP US History, AP European History, AP English Language, and AP French exams.
Gilli brings patience, humor, and confidence-boosting energy to all of her tutoring sessions, and she is always thrilled to hear about the success her students have gone on to achieve after working with her. Gilli’s SAT, AP, and academic tutoring students have been accepted to Ivy League Schools, and her ISEE, SSAT, and HSPT students have been accepted to elite private and boarding schools nationwide.
