Born and raised in Chicago, Gint is passionate about teaching and helping his students achieve their full potential. Gint graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and from New York University with a Master of Business Administration degree. Notably, while at NYU, he was selected as an NYU Stern Teaching Fellow to assist professors with the administration of classes in Microeconomics and Macroeconomics. Gint has always had an interest in meeting people and learning about their cultures, and he studied abroad in Amsterdam, Argentina, and Colombia. He is bilingual in Spanish and English as well as conversant in Lithuanian.

Gint began tutoring after almost two decades as a software product manager for several Wall Street firms. His products were used by money managers across the U.S. and Canada to manage billions of dollars for their clients. Over the course of his career, Gint met with institutional investors in the U.S. and Canada and managed software development and client service teams around the world.

Gint brings a wealth of experience and perspective to his tutoring sessions, and he has helped many students improve their test scores and reach their academic goals. He subscribes to the educational philosophy of the college preparatory high school he attended, which is based upon the importance of the human person, a liberal arts curriculum, and the full development of each student according to their capacity. Gint approaches his teaching with humor, a focus on applied knowledge, and a practical mindset.

  • In high school, Gint was a National Merit Scholarship Finalist.
  • Gint has done live TV interviews on CNN, CNBC, and TV Tokyo to discuss US corporate earnings and the stock market.

Fun Facts

  • Gint collects currency from every country he visits. His favorites are Dutch Guilders (circa 1998).
  • Lithuanian was his first language.
