Holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Studies from Bard College and a Master of Arts degree in French from Hunter College, Katie began her studies of the French language began while living in Paris for a year and a half in her pre-teen years. Katie’s talent for languages was developed through studying not only French, but also German, Portuguese, and ancient Greek.

Professionally, Katie has served as a replacement French teacher in schools in New York City and has been a private French tutor in Brooklyn since 2018. Katie’s students look forward to the energy and enthusiasm she brings to her tutoring sessions, and to the environment she creates where her students thrive.
