About
A former public and private school teacher, Mike is a career educator with over 20 years of experience.
As a highschool student, Mike was a National Merit semifinalist. He then went on to Lehigh University where he earned his bachelor’s, followed by the University of Delaware where he earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering. After graduating, he worked as a research engineer in the pharmaceutical industry for over a decade.
Teaching has been his second career. Mike switched career paths out of a desire to work with people more than things—and he has never looked back. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his family, running, the outdoors (hiking and camping), and travel.
