Nathan is an east-coaster and an anthropologist who loves to teach. In high school, he scored 5s on nine different AP exams. For college, Nathan attended Auburn University, from which he graduated as an Honors Scholar with a double major in Quantitative Economics and Anthropology, earning the Charles P. Anson award for top-performing economics students. Nathan then went on to complete his master’s degree in Social Sciences at the University of Chicago, and he’s currently pursuing his PhD in Cultural Anthropology at the University of California, Davis.

In his spare time, Nathan loves to take his two Jack-Russell mixes for hikes. He is also an avid traveler and has spent extensive time in southern Spain throughout the course of his dissertation research.
