About

Educated at Harvard University and the University of Oregon (magna cum laude), Sara is a passionate educator who has tutored more than 3000 hours and has helped hundreds of students gain the skills and confidence to achieve their academic and exam goals.

Following graduate school, Sara worked for seven years as an Education Coordinator in Philadelphia, developing community classes and regularly guest lecturing at high schools and universities in the region.

Along with tutoring high school students in a variety of college admissions exams since 2014, Sara has also trained tutors and developed test prep curriculum. As one of a small, hand-selected team of ArborBridge Coaches, Sara empowers her students to achieve their goals through individualized work in executive functioning, test-taking foundations, and testing mindset strategies. Nearly a dozen of Sara’s students have achieved perfect scores on the ACT math section, and eight of Sara’s students have been admitted to Ivy League universities.

Students appreciate Sara’s approachability, clarity of instruction, and ability to make learning fun. By taking the time to get to know each student personally, Sara develops preparation courses that challenge, encourage, and meet the student’s individual needs.
