About

Zito is a passionate and energetic instructor who utilizes a coach-like approach to working with students. As a high school student, Zito was an AP Scholar. He spent three years teaching college writing as part of a “super” teaching assistantship, and he spent four years teaching high school English and math. He believes he has found his niche as a private tutor, a profession he has enjoyed for more than a decade. Though his focus in college was English literature, math has always been one of his strongest subjects.

In the past year, two-thirds of Zito’s students achieved SAT scores of 1400 or higher, and Zito guided one student to a 120-point improvement on the Math section.

Zito is known for employing humor in his enthusiastic teaching style, and his students are grateful for his personal approach to teaching. He has helped numerous students surpass their goal scores on college admissions tests, and he relishes the opportunity to help students of all ages excel in their academics.
